7.24.10 -- The Jehovah's Witnesses Return...

So the Jehovah's Witnesses came a knocking right after we got out of school for summer. I gave him my view of religion, hoping he would realize that I had no desire to change my views or religion. Apparently whatever I said to him the first time (I believe everyone can believe whatever they want as long as they don't hurt anyone else, no one is going to hell simply for their beliefs etc.). Today, he came back and he brought his daughter with him. The pamphlet above is the "reading material" that he left behind for me. I flipped through it before throwing it into the recycling and there were articles about marriage and divorce (I wonder if he was offended by my out-of-wedlock child). At any rate, I'm not going to convert anytime soon. I am happy and secure with my beliefs, but I do find it comedic that my strong views left that kind of an impact. However, I would be happy if he stopped ringing my doorbell. Two times was enough...
