We awoke to a much nicer day today. First thing in the morning I went on my long walk (7 miles). I decided to walk back out toward the main road into Cape Meares and to take the jetty out around the bay. It is gorgeous, with a lot of wildlife and whatnot. However, what I did not anticipate was people choosing to camp, literally, in the middle of the trail. It was definitely an interesting 7 miles.It took awhile for the clouds to clear, but by lunch time it was gorgeous and over 70. We spent hours on the beach with Lucas running in and out of the waves and we all built a sandcastle and dad played his ukulele. It was a perfect day at the coast, you really couldn't ask for more.
