Today we spent the morning at Esther Short park with Selena and sweet baby Kaleb (who is a walking MACHINE!). It was a mild morning, but turned into a beautiful day. Lucas is perfecting his new skill of pumping himself on the swing! He's doing pretty awesome...although he would rather I push him. He also seemed to be perfecting the art of whining this morning, but at least he snapped out of that one! We finished our morning with lunch on the waterfront at McMenamins. I think I could get used to this whole summer vacation thing... at least for a few weeks. I think about the time ESY rolls around, I'll be about ready to be at work...at least for 3 hours a day :)As a bonus...I went for a four mile walk this evening on the Salmon Creek trail, about a half mile north of our house. On my way back to our house at the head of the trail, I saw a turtle :) He was quite cute, and I had to take another picture. I absolutely love the wildlife around here on my walks. The wild bunnies are another favorite of mine.
